Custom & consultation-first

Tattoos designed around your idea.

Alien Phone Tattoo is a custom-focused studio. Every tattoo starts with a consultation, so we get the design right before we set a date — then we give you our full attention while we bring it to life. Clean, bold, and a little weird.

How it works

Every tattoo starts with a consultation.

We don't set a tattoo date without sitting down together first — it's how we make sure the design is right before anyone commits.

Reach out

Give us a call or send a request with your idea, any references, and a rough placement and size.

Consultation

We talk through the design, placement, size, and what it'll take. No pressure, no rush.

Deposit & date

Most people set their date right at the consultation. A deposit holds it — usually $40–$100, depending on how much drawing your design needs and how long a session you're after. It's non-refundable, but it comes right off the price of your tattoo.

Your session

Your artwork is drawn and prepped in advance, so the day itself is all about the tattoo.

How we work

A studio that isn't a factory.

Our concern is the best possible version of your tattoo — not cranking out production work. That's why we consult first and prep every piece in advance.

Collaborative design

Bring a concept, references, or just a feeling. We'll draw something that fits your body and your style, and you'll review it before we start.

Clean & comfortable

Single-use setups and a high standard of cleanliness, in a studio that's genuinely welcoming.

Time to do it right

Consulting first means we prepare your artwork in advance and never rush the work.

Tattoo FAQ

Common questions, answered.

Do I need a consultation before getting a tattoo?

Yes — we don't set a tattoo date without a consultation first. It's how we make sure the design, placement, and size are right before anyone commits, and it means your artwork is drawn and prepped before you ever sit down.

How much is the tattoo deposit?

Usually $40–$100. The exact amount depends on how much drawing your design needs and how long a session you are after. The deposit is non-refundable, but it comes right off the price of your tattoo — so it is not an extra cost.

Why do you take a deposit?

Your deposit holds your date and covers the design work we do before you sit down. If someone cancels last minute or does not show, that time and drawing is already spent — the deposit makes that make sense for us. Since it comes off the price of your tattoo, you are not paying anything extra.

Can I walk in for a tattoo?

Not for tattoos. Every tattoo starts with a consultation and we prepare your artwork in advance, so we do not tattoo walk-ins. You are welcome to stop in or call to set up a consultation. Piercings are different — same-day piercing appointments are usually available.

Can you cover up or rework an old tattoo?

Yes. Cover-ups and rework are their own craft, and we need to see the existing tattoo in person at a consultation before we can plan the design or set a date. We will tell you honestly what will hold up over time rather than promise the impossible.

Can I get tattooed by one of your guest artists?

Heather guests with us and is not on a fixed schedule. Give us a call to check whether she is in, or follow her on Instagram for her latest dates.

Do I need to bring an ID?

Yes — please bring a valid photo ID to your appointment. If you have questions about age requirements, give us a call before you come in.
